What is Critical Mass?

Santa Monica Critical Mass is a weekly bicycle ride celebrating the joy and virtues of bicycling. The Critical Mass concept started in San Francisco in September 1992 and has spread to cities all over the world. For more info, visit:

6:30pm, Santa Monica Pier Ocean Ave. & Colorado Ave. (at top of pier ramp) map

There are several EARLY "satellite" meeting points (which merge into main ride):

5:45pm, UCLA Westwood Blvd. & Le Conte map
5:45pm, Culver City Town Plaza
Culver Blvd. & Washington Blvd.

Note: If you don't find others at the early meeting points, just make sure you get to the SM Pier on your own, before 7:00pm.
